Group practices
Joining a group practice is an excellent way to learn Wuji Gong, the fundamental form of Emei Qigong, and to keep your practice on track. Some students practice only once a week, at group practice. Others use the group practice as a way of keeping themselves motivated, as part of a more frequent practice. In any event, group practices are a wonderful opportunity to feel and build the group energy field.
The
practice schedule below, for the Marin and Sonoma county groups that my students and I
lead, will be updated on this page around the start of
each month. Please contact me if you’d like to receive a monthly email with the schedule.
Marin County: Sunday mornings, 9:15-10 a.m. Meet at Oleander Park in the Terra Linda neighborhood of San Rafael. (Exit Hwy. 101 at Freitas Parkway and head west; turn right on Las Gallinas; and right on Oleander. The park is on your right after you pass Orange Blossom.) Regularly led by me and my husband, Bill. Meeting every Sunday in June.
Sonoma County, Sebastopol: Saturday afternoons, 4-5:15 p.m. Meet near the covered gazebo at Willard Libby Park, on the corner of Pleasant Hill Avenue North and Valentine Avenue, Sebastopol. Regularly led by Ann Marie Dale and Ryan Polite; Bill and I will be there this month on June 19. Meeting every Saturday in June.
Sonoma County, Santa Rosa: Tuesday evening, 6-7 p.m. Meet under the flagpole in Juilliard Park in downtown Santa Rosa. (Easiest to park on Santa Rosa Avenue, which is directly across the street from the practice location. There is also a small side street right next to the park, on the south side, that has about five parking spots.) Regularly led by Maia Marin. Meeting every Tuesday in June.
Other Bay Area practices: Please contact me for information on other Bay Area group practices.
Cost: Outdoor group practices are free. For practices that meet indoors, there may be a small charge to cover the cost of renting space or because a city requires a class fee.
